Overview:

Peppermint or “Mentha piperita” also has common names: balm mint, curled mint, and labm mint. 

Peppermint is very useful herb for your upset stomach. It is antispasmodic, which helps with stomach pain and cramps and can help prevent them from happening. 

Peppermint is best known to relieve digestive conditions such as indigestion and gas.  

Cautions: Mint can adversely affect some people. People with “GERD” or gastroesophageal reflux disease should not use mint in an attempt to soothe digestive issues.
